Sophia then talks about their TV set needs replacing so they have the idea to throw a yard sale. Rose's sister Lily from Chicago is in town on a visit, she has recently lost her sight, which she claims hasn't affected her, she had a full life beforehand and found the school for the blind boring. This goes on while a garage sale is taking place with the girls selling items they would rather not get rid of. She is now facing life as a blind woman and soon behaves like a helpless child to get Rose to take care of her permanently. Rose gets a visit from her sister Lily, who is blind.
